This rope was specifically designed for electric utilities but has a number of industrial and marine applications. The construction provides extremely high strength, very high energy absorption, and very good dielectric properties. A single blue/gold tracer in the cover identifies Polylon. Urethane coatings are available to maximize abrasion resistance and minimize water absorption.
